My son, husband, and I recently had lunch at the Subway (see map) in the Food Court at the Greensboro “Four Seasons Town Centre.” It was a pleasant setting; however, because the drink machine was behind the counter, a customer had to go back to the counter to request the one free refill allowed.
Our sandwich preparer/“artist” evidently had been strictly instructed regarding quantities of veggies to use, as he gave Henry and me four very small tomato slices and four small cucumber slices on our 12-inch turkey sandwich. (had the diameter of the tomatoes and cucumbers been larger, four pieces would not have seemed so skimpy.) He was equally conservative with the other sandwich fixings. Nevertheless, what veggies were used tasted good, and the bread was especially tender.
Our son ordered a 6-inch roast beef on Honey Oat bread, White Chip Macadamia Nut cookies, and a soft drink as a Meal Deal.
Despite its slight imperfections, this Subway is a convenient and affordable place to grab a quick lunch, and it's fun to ride the glass-walled elevators up to, and down from, the third floor Food Court.
