Good Bread, Bad Doors

Subway, 3212 Randleman Rd., Greensboro, NC

By Patricia B. Mitchell, 2007.

Subway

We have been to this particular Subway twice since I last wrote about it. Both times the food has been very good, though one sandwich preparer is not very generous, and there is sometimes a bit of a language barrier.

The most aggravating thing about the place, however, is the frustration of dealing with the hall door to the restrooms and the door to the ladies' room. The handle on the door to the hall is broken and it is easy to get stuck in the hall and have to bang on the door to get someone to let you out. Moreover, the door to the ladies' restroom is so heavy that one can practically dislocate a shoulder trying to pull it open. I assume something is wrong with the hinges, making it abnormally heavy. The oddest thing is that in the weeks between our second and third visits to this Subway, these door problems have not been corrected.
