The Ultimate Chicken Grill sandwich and the baked potato which I ordered at the Wendy's in Candor, North Carolina, were nicely prepared and very satisfying. I asked for the Honey Mustard sauce on the side. They forgot about that, so I went back to the counter and asked for it.
Henry had the side salad, which was fresh and pretty; and the Chili, which was flavorful and full of red beans, pintos, onions, celery, green pepper, meat and seasonings, in a tomato base.
Our daughter Sarah opted for the kids' hamburger, milk, and yogurt with granola. (They forgot the granola, so back I went to the counter to request that.) Sarah's hamburger was dressed with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles.
There isn't a drink dispenser in the customer area in any of the Wendy's we've seen, but one can go up to the counter to request more soft drinks or tea. That meant more Candor counter visits. (At least we got exercise during the meal.)
The staff was pleasant, and we left no longer hungry.
