French Cooking in Early America

…Impressed with the amount of historical data and research

Madame Mitchell,

I purchased two of your booklets on a trip driving down the Mississippi River with my father. My father was the director of the Alliance Française in Chicago for a number of years. The purpose of the trip was for my father to teach me about early French history from New France to Louisiana. While in Mississippi, we stopped at a plantation for a tour. I bought your booklets there.

I read French Cooking in Early America and Revolutionary Recipes last evening. I was impressed with the amount of historical data and research. I wanted to thank you for some enjoyable reading.

Thanks,

FM
